This free offer is Kids Halloween Deck of Playing Cards
which offers a full deck of playing cards plus an extra sheet with two wild
cards and two blank cards. These cards last longer if you laminate them so we
are offering a “How to Laminate Printable Deck of Playing Cards” as well as an
optional outside for these cards; Halloween Craft Paper.
Card Printing
Tips:
While the playing cards can be
printed on standard computer paper, Moms Break has these printing tips to make your use of
our playing cards more enjoyable!
Tip 1: Print on heavyweight Card Stock to
make card stronger. Card stock is available in office supply stores like Office
Depot or Staples, and can usually be found in discount stores like Wal-Mart and
Target. You can use any color you wish, but Moms Break suggests that you
use soft colors like beige or light colors.
Tip 2: Print a design on the blank side of the cards! After printing the cards but
before
cutting the cards apart, re-insert the printed cards back into the
printer’s paper tray/slot so that it will print on the blank side of the paper.
Print one of our craft paper designs on the blank side, suggestion: Halloween Craft
Paper. Repeat for each sheet of playing cards. Note: Each printer is different,
so you may need to experiment with a single sheet of playing cards to determine
how to put the paper back into the printer so that it will print on the blank
side.
Tip 3: If you need two decks of cards, then
print one deck with one design, and the other deck with another design. This
will help you to sort the decks after you finish playing the two-deck game.
Tip 4: If you don’t have much time,
then the sheet of cards can be cut in half, and then cut in half again rather
than trimming the cards along the heavy black outline. The cards will have
square edges, instead of rounded edges. For smaller children, the bigger cards
may be easier to handle.
Optional: There is a video tutor below the example images on how to laminate these these cards for longer use or sticky fingers from Halloween candy. Special Thanks to Jan K. the Proofer for submitting this tutor using Moms Break free printables.
