To make the Baby Pin Letter Shower Bag, basically do this: Fold in half on fold line, fold
sides in toward the “© Moms Break” on the marked lines, tape side shut, fill,
fold top down and tape closed. This bag is very simple to make, however we do
recommend reading the more detailed directions shown below.
These are more detailed step-by-step instructions:
1. Fold bag on the line marked number 1. Note that the bag might not fold
exactly in the middle of the page depending on printer setting; however it is
recommended that you use the fold line.
2. Lay the bag so that “© by MomsBreak.com or licensors. Terms see
MomsBreakInc.com” is face up.
3. Fold the two lines marked number 2 inward. Tape or glue these side tabs.
4. Fill the bag with your bag fillers (i.e., candy, party favors, gift card,
etc.).
5. Fold down remaining top flap (marked number 3) to close the bag. Tape or glue
closed. Note that you may have to fold over the ends of both sides of the bag,
depending on how the bag prints on your printer. Tape or glue the folded-over
flap to close the bag.
Special Notes:
* Remember when using glue to allow the glue time to dry between steps.
* Printer types and settings do vary. These instructions should provide enough
information for folding and closing the bag. However, it always best to do one
test print and fold before printing several bags.
You can find a tutor for folding this bag at Jan’s Reading Room
bag tutor which is valentine but the same principle applies. There is also how to fold
video tutor offer by Moms Break, this is a holiday tutor but the same principle applies.

Baby Shower “Guess What’s in the Bag Game!”
Printer Friendly Version
Gather small baby items small enough to fit into the Baby Pin Letter Shower Bag loosely.
Baby Item Ideas: (Hint: Print and assemble a test bag to make sure each item fits in the bag. Then print as many bags as you need, one bag per item.)
• Odd shaped diaper pin (one with a decorative head)
• Baby socks or booties
• Baby toys
• Baby spoon
• Small Pacifier
• Baby bottle nipple
• One baby wipe
• Cotton-tipped swabs (Q-Tips)
Or other small baby items will work as long as it fits inside the bag loosely.
Depending on how many baby items you have decided to use print the same number of Baby Pin Letter Shower Bags. (Optional: You can print a variety of bags offered at Moms Break to have different bags for different baby items.) Assemble the bags and before inserting the items, write a number on each bag. Then make a list of what is in each bag (such as, Bag #1: Diaper Pin, Bag #2: Pacifier). This will be the “answer key” to use at the end of the game.
Put the one item in each bag; add a small bit of cotton (pull apart a cotton ball), or shredded paper in the bag and seal. This will make it harder for the guest to guess what in the bag. If the baby item has sharp or hard edges, then wrap in some plastic wrap or put in a plastic sandwich bag before putting it in the bag.
At the baby shower give each guest a piece of paper and pen. Pass the bags around, one at a time, and have each person write down their guess of what is in the bag.
After all the bags are passed around and everyone has written down their guesses, use the answer key to call out the item in each bag. Have the guests score their own guesses. The game winner is the person who has the most correct guesses.
As an alternative, when everyone has guessed what is in the bag, have Mom-to-Be open each bag to show what is in the bag. Each guest scores their own answers. (Be sure to have the rest of what goes with each item to give to Mom-to-Be, such as the other diaper pin, the bottle for the nipple, etc.)
Bonus Bag! Squeeze a small bit of baby lotion or diaper rash ointment into a sealable sandwich bag. Seal the bag, squeezing out air as you seal it. Make sure that there is enough lotion or ointment in the plastic bag to make it “squishy” when you feel it. Anyone who guesses what it is wins a prize!
