Baby on Board Iron-on Transfers

Pregnancy Iron-On Transfer Instructions to make shirts, aprons, etc for Mommy-to-Be.

Instructions:

Be sure to follow the instructions that come with the brand of transfer paper you purchase for use with Mom's Break Pregnancy Iron-on Transfers.

Below are some basic instructions for how to use transfer paper. The purpose is to give you an “idea” of how transfer paper and iron-on transfers work. These are only very general instructions. The instructions for the actual transfer paper you purchase may be different, so be sure to read those instructions very carefully.

The image you select has already been “reversed” to make it suitable for transferring. All you have to do is print it on a transfer paper.(Most transfer paper products require that the images to be ironed-on be "reversed." This has already been done for you, so you do not need to follow the instructions given for reversing the image.)

Click the link of the iron-on transfer you wish to print. The picture will open in a new window as an Adobe reader and is ready to print on iron-on transfer paper. There is a iron-on transfer tutor for birthday transfers which can be used with these transfers also.

Print the image on transfer paper (following the printing instructions given with the transfer paper you purchased; remember that this image has already been reversed). Once the image is printed on transfer paper, cut off excess part of transfer paper, around the image, if desired. Any white part of transfer paper that is left around the image will transfer to your shirt or other cloth you are using for the iron-on transfer.

Heat iron according to the instructions for your transfer paper.

Place the printed iron-on transfer on shirt or other article of clothing/cloth onto which you are transferring the image. Be sure to follow the instructions provided with your transfer paper for this procedure.

Iron as instructed by the directions given with your transfer paper. Do not over-iron, or use iron that is hotter than the directions call for.

Follow instructions given with transfer paper and allowing shirt/clothing to cool and when and how to peel off transfer paper backing. Follow all other instructions that come with your transfer paper for handling and washing.

REMINDER: It is very important that you follow the instructions that come with your transfer paper. These are just general instructions to give you an idea about how the process works.
