Ideas for this maze:
- Christmas party game, the one who finishes the maze first wins the game.
- In the classroom or at home, it is great way to get kids to think and solve puzzles.
- Give the child(ren) a time limit when playing the maze game. If they do not solve the puzzle, then have them start over again with a newly printed maze puzzle to keep them busy for a longer amount of time. This will also help to test their memory and to learn from prior experience.
- Have the child(ren) use different colored pens, markers, or crayons and each time they hit dead end or make a wrong turn have them change colors so they can see where they went wrong, and more importantly where they chose the right path, after finishing. This adds a bit of fun---and color---to the free maze game for kids.
- To add some extra fun, put a piece of wrapped candy or a cookie on the destination of the maze. The child(ren) must solve the puzzle to get the treat!
